Augmented Reality (AR) is a technology that superimposes the computer generated imaginaries to the real world views and creates an enhanced composite view. AR helps in object recognition and adding computer vision to the real world views and manipulates surroundings digitally to make it interactive.

The basic function of the AR technology is to place virtual object over a real object. This overlay process is executed in a runtime environment with the input received from the devices like camera and smart glasses. It typically identifies a certain predefined object and calls for a relevant computer generated object which would include image, video, 3D model, map, audio etc.

We at WildChild Studios create object identifiers and define the models and files to be rendered above the live view. AR has emerged as a virtual gaming platform which combines the real world and CG world. We are working on Augmented Reality for with and without marker technologies.
